Participation in “Refresh Setouchi” Volunteer Cleanup Activity
On May 12 and 13, 2026, a total of 17 employees from our company participated in the “Refresh Setouchi” volunteer coastal cleanup campaign, organized by the Setouchi Sea Route Network Promotion Council—an organization dedicated to preserving the natural environment and promoting maritime routes in the Seto Inland Sea region of western Japan.
The activity took place at Befu Port and Onoe Fishing Port in Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture. This area faces the Seto Inland Sea, one of Japan’s most important coastal regions for industry, logistics, and fisheries. It is also home to a steelworks operated by Kobe Steel, Ltd., one of our key business partners.
The “Refresh Setouchi” campaign is a long-running regional initiative involving local governments, companies, and community members, aimed at maintaining the cleanliness and environmental sustainability of coastal areas.
Our company’s Code of Conduct includes a commitment to “act as a responsible corporate citizen, strive for harmony with the international and local communities, enhance corporate value sustainably, and actively engage in social contribution activities.”
We will continue to participate in initiatives like this and contribute to environmental conservation and local communities.
