Introducing Decarbonization Initiatives Through the LNG-Fueled Car Carrier “WILD ROSE LEADER”
In September 2026, the LNG-fueled car carrier WILD ROSE LEADER welcomed a delegation of government officials, including Japan’s Minister of the Environment, during a visit at the Port of Zeebrugge, Belgium.

Guided by the vessel’s Master and Chief Engineer, the visitors toured the bridge and engine room and were introduced to initiatives aimed at decarbonizing the shipping industry, including the utilization of next-generation fuels.
At the automobile terminal, the delegation also learned about advanced decarbonization measures being implemented in Europe, such as the use of renewable energy and shore power facilities for vessels. These initiatives highlighted ongoing efforts to realize a more sustainable logistics network.
We will continue to collaborate with our partners to contribute to the decarbonization of the maritime industry and the development of a sustainable supply chain.
